1. U.S.A joined in 1917 and war was over in 1918.
2. Reichstag.
3. According to the treaty of Versailles Germany lost its overseas
colonies, 1/10th of the population, 26% of coal and 75%
of its iron to Poland, France, Denmark and Lithuania.
4. After WW1:-
i) Soldiers came to placed above civilians
ii) Politicians and media laid great stress on the need for men to
be aggressive, strong and masculine.

i) Weimar republic had to pay the compensation for the sins done
by the old empire

6. After WW1 when the value of German mark fell, a situation came
when the prices of goods grew very high. This is called hyperinflation.
